Mitch Seavey scored one for the senior crowd Tuesday night by becoming the oldest champion in Iditarod sled dog race history, finishing the 1,000-mile trek in nine days and seven hours.
The 53-year-old who won the race this year, is father to Dallas Seavey who last year became the youngest ever to win the race at age 25.
