This Florida hockey arena never produced a louder roar than when a fan was given the chance to win $100,000 and hit the most perfect shot you could imagine.
Orlando Solar Bears season ticket holder Nick Giovanelli was selected as the finalist to shoot for the cash prize at Thursday night’s game against the Florida Everblades.
From the blue line, a 115-foot distance, Giovanelli needed to slide the puck through a hole barely larger than the puck itself.

When the slow-moving puck finally slipped through the goal the crowd went wild cheering the good fortune of the St. Cloud, Florida man.
The frenzy continued later in the night when the Solars Bears won the final regular-season home game in similar exciting fashion, scoring a winning goal with just a half-second left in overtime.
