19 Years after her adoption from the Da Nang orphanage, Kimberly Mitchell chose a career in the Navy to fulfill her fathers wish.
After serving and thriving in the Navy for 17 years, Kimberly, a Lieutenant Commander, continued to pay tribute to the opportunities given her by the US military by helping set up the Dixon Center to provide help for servicemembers and their families.
