A small Catholic school was presented with a check for one hundred thousand dollars during an an unforgettable assembly celebrating recycling. The 150 students at St. Pascal School performed beyond expectations, collecting more than 300,000 recyclable containers during a 3 month period. They beat out every other school in the country to win the title and generous check.
The school plans to use the money on “green” projects like converting their computer center to run on solar.
