— MuZic King (@iAmMuzicKing) November 19, 2015Renowned American rapper Snoop Dogg ushered in the Thanksgiving spirit by handing out over 1,500 turkeys – along with optional hugs, kisses, and selfies – for an annual giveaway in Southern California.
Looking for a meaningful way to give back to the town of Inglewood where his production crew is based, Snoop asked the mayor what he could do to help.
This is the second year the enigmatic celebrity has handed out birds, this time almost doubling last year’s total of 800.

“Inglewood, y’all know I love you.” Snoop announced at the community event November 19. “This is my second home.”
Snoop reportedly took over 800 selfies with everyone in line, and even kicked off the event by moseying right over to the senior’s tent to get pictures with the elderly.
The California artist plans to continue the tradition alongside Inglewood’s Mayor James Butts each year to come.
