Over the years, a lot of hopeful rookies have overcome many hardships to earn a crack at a National Football League roster spot. I’m sure there are a lot of rough stories out there, but probably none any rougher than the story of Bill Noethlich.
A 6 foot 7, 308-pound offensive lineman who just signed a contract with the Minnesota Vikings, Noethlich battled back from tragedy after tragedy heeding his grandfather’s dying advice to become a football player.
