An 80-acre sanctuary near Phoenix is a refuge to more than 400 pigs, casualties of the potbellied pig craze of the 80’s and 90’s. Some were abused, some neglected and many abandoned. Sometimes their owners had been duped by pig marketers promising chic and tiny pets before actually delivering animals that grew rapidly becoming unmanageable.
