In Appleton, Wisconsin, emergency responders have a new tool to save the lives of members of your family … your pets. Oxygen masks intended for use on dogs, cats and other small animals will be carried on six fire trucks and 13 Gold Cross ambulances thanks to a persistent alderman and eager pet owners who donated the money necessary to buy the mask kits at $49 each.
