In the Washington Post’s third annual Peeps diorama contest, which drew 1,100 entries, the winner was a gorgeous re-creation of Edward Hopper’s iconic painting, Nighthawks. View “Nightpeeps” and a myriad of other whimsical dioramas, all featuring the marshmellow-sticky Easter treats, in a wonderful slide show. My favorites included the geometric Escher stairways with dizzying peeps and the Twilight Zone recreation, Nightmare at 20,000 Peeps!
