An intense hail and rain storm Monday in the Denver area swept away a family’s car in a wave of flood water —with a mother and her young daughter inside.
The relentless hail clogged a large drainage gate, resulting in a flash flood that trapped the two. But a Good Samaritan with a truck was able to get close enough to save them.
And he caught the scene on his mobile phone.
