Susanna Rohm noticed her 12-week-old infant had stopped breathing. Lucky for her, a 9-year-old boy and his friend were out playing in the street.
Scared and home alone, the Marietta, Georgia mother couldn’t remember how to give CPR. She jumped up and lost her cellphone in the commotion. There wasn’t a landline in the house, so she stepped outside screaming for someone to call 911.
The boys had learned how to give a baby CPR from a poster at their school. They ran in the woman’s house, and coached the mother with instructions after seeing that she was splashing water on the baby’s face.
