Even though they are still recovering from their own natural disaster, the Japanese Government is helping Alabama tornado victims, donating emergency supplies including 8,000 blankets and 150 tarps worth more than $120,000.
The gift is in appreciation for the prayers and relief aid the United States offered following the March earthquake and tsunami, said Japan’s Consul General.
