Olympic snowboarding champion Hannah Teter, who won the gold medal four years ago, decided to donate all the prize money from her sport to a charity called, Hannah’s gold.
This season all the money is being diverted to help the recovery effort in Haiti. In the past, she has helped an impoverished town in Kenya acquire basic necessities like clean water.
You can also buy products from her, like maple syrup and wrist bands that say “Goodness”, and a large portion of your purchase goes to fund the programs.
