A substitute crossing guard helping elementary kids stay safe at a San Anselmo school dove in front of a moving car to save a young boy from being hit.
Jeff James, with his stop sign waving, “hit the ground in a tuck-and-roll move, landing his 6-foot, 3-inch, 265-pound body directly in front of the SUV’s tires.”
Now, a grateful community has launched a fund raising effort to help pay for physical therapy.
