A special cooking school in Washington, DC teaches life skills and self-empowerment to prepare the under-employed, previously incarcerated, and homeless adults for careers in the food service industry.
The D.C. Central Kitchen culinary jobs program just graduated its latest class after 16 weeks of study, and most of them already have jobs.
