Dozens of dolphins stranded on a Brazilian beach were are saved by locals who worked tirelessly to drag them back to the ocean.
The stunning video was shot by Gerd Traue and posted on YouTube by crariyo who wrote, “About 30 Dolphins stranded and saved by local people at Arraial do Cabo (Brazil) in the morning at 8:00 AM on March 5th 2012.”
It appears that all the dolphins were moved safely out to sea.

March 5th was a day that the Sun emitted a large and significant solar flare – I wonder if this impacted the dolphins sonar and caused them to beach themselves?
Wow, that is really amazing that all the dophins were saved. Everyone just seemed to know what to do.
So great that it happened at a time when there were people there to help. Would’ve been very sad otherwise.
I wonder if it WAS the solar flares that sent the dolphins fleeing to land. I loved how one tourist looked at his wife, and you could see him deciding… stripping down and jumping in to grab one of the dolphin tails. Extraordinary video!
