If you, or a veteran you know, needs some dental work, now is the chance to sign up to restore a shining smile commensurate with your service.
For the fifth year in a row, over 450 Aspen Dental offices across America will be opening their doors on June 9th to provide roughly 5,000 veterans with some much-needed free dental care.
The previous four annual “Day of Service” events have resulted in over $10.3 million in donated dentistry. While basic cleanings are also provided to the patients, the dental team makes sure they address the more pressing services, such as fillings, extractions, and repairs that can relieve persistent pain.
“Like millions of Americans, veterans often do not get the dental care they need due to barriers like cost, fear, access and lack of insurance,” said Dr. Adam Mileski of Aspen Dental.

“The VA only provides dental benefits to veterans who are classified as 100% disabled, have been a prisoner of war, or have a service-connected dental condition or disability,” he added.
In addition to their Day of Service events, Aspen Dental’s Healthy Mouth Movement includes the “Mouth Mobile”, a 42-foot bus that travels around the nation offering free dental care to veterans. The Mouth Mobile has already served over 100 communities, giving away thousands of dollars worth of free oral treatment.
