Way to go! Women are a worldwide focus of “microlending” or “microfinance,” which makes small loans to people who only need a little bit of startup capital for a vehicle, sewing machine, generator, livestock – whatever it takes to start a business. Even in cultures where men tend to be more transient, women are eager to create value, employ family and friends, and build a community of success by offering something needed by their neighbors. And their neighbors are just as psyched to have a reliable local source for their needs.
