In the province of Verona, an artist, who says he uses his plough as a painter would a brush, created a giant portrait of the pope with just a tractor and farmland belonging to his parents.
The crop-art took six hours to complete with no prior planning. He simply has an innate sense of proportion when carving the land with his tractor.
The Italian artist, Mr Gambarin, had previously produced giant images of President Barack Obama and Edvard Munch’s The Scream.
